Published :: Style Me Pretty :: A Perfect Peach Eye :: Makeup Tutorials with Liz Washer

For the last of our three makeup tutorials, Liz Washer created this peachy eye based on Jessica Alba's makeup at the recent MTV Movie Awards. This look is such a beautiful alternative to the 'smokey eye' and is really warm, flattering, and fresh.

The wedding gown was provided by In White for our shoot. And with that Hollywood Glam Hair, it all makes for a picture perfect bridal look! You can see this makeup demonstrated step by step on Style Me Pretty as well!

How to get this Glowing Peach Eye Look

1.     Apply a peach eyeshadow to the center and outer quadrant of the eyelid

2.     Apply a shimmery gold to the inner eyelid

3.     Use a round-tipped shadow brush to apply reddish brown matte shadow to the outer corner and crease

4.     Sketch a bronzey-brown pencil along the lower lash line

5.     Using an angled brush, apply a water-resistant gel eyeliner to the top lash line

6.     Apply a thin line of black lash glue to the base of a wispy lash strip

7.     Apply a final coat of mascara to unite the natural and faux lashes

Published :: Style Me Pretty :: A Bold Pink Power Pout :: Makeup Tutorials with Liz Washer

On with our makeup tutorials! I'm in love with this bold lip that Liz Washer did next and how gorgeous it looks with a wedding gown! By the way, this beautiful lace dress was provided by In White for this shoot.

The second look we covered was how to get a bold, powerful lip based on the pink power pout Holland Roden was sporting at the recent MTV Movie Awards. You can also see this look demonstrated step by step on Style Me Pretty where it was published.

Holland Roden’s power pout

1.     Apply light coat of lip balm and allow to sink in

2.     Define lips with a long-lasting pencil that is close in shade to your natural lip color; fill lips in completely for a good base

3.     Apply a brightly colored cream lipstick (no shimmer or glitter)

4.     Blot with one ply of tissue, then reapply one coat; blot again!

5.     Lightly tap translucent powder through one ply of tissue to set lipstick

To add to my excitement, these tutorials were just published in Style Me Pretty! I'm going to space out the three looks here on my blog, so as not to overwhelm you!

5.     Highlight inner corner with a shimmery champagne shadow

Here's a little teaser from the beauty shoot I worked on with Liz Washer this past Saturday. I'm in love with this hair, which Liz told me is dubbed 'Hollywood Waves' for their old fashion glamour. Can someone come do this for me every morning?!

I can't wait to share even more from the day with you all, we did a little bit of everything!
