Elizabeth Park Garden House Wedding :: Pond House in West Hartford, CT :: Christina and Joseph :: Sneak Peek

The sun was shining in full force and the roses all around Elizabeth Park were in bloom, shades of pink and red lining archways and paths throughout the garden. In the middle of one of those archways, Joe waited for Christina. He was waiting to see her for the first time that day before their ceremony and their guests arrived. You could feel the anticipation and excitement. And the whole scene was straight out of a fairy tale! Christina walked up behind him, tapped Joe on the shoulder, and he turned to see her. The looks they shared, there was so much happiness and awe and love. They hugged and kissed each other. They just took in the moment and the beginning of a beautiful day and a memorable celebration. And this was just the start! Their wedding was so full of love with heartfelt toasts, happy tears, a touching ceremony, and some great dance moves! There is no better way to celebrate to truly beautiful people.

Fun Garden House Wedding :: Look Park in Northampton MA :: Emily and Matt :: Sneak Peek

It was a beautiful Sunday in the park with flowers blooming everywhere, geese waddling by, paddle boats dotting the lake, people enjoying the train that wraps around the field, playgrounds full, and two incredible people committing to each other for life with personal, heartfelt vows.

Emily and Matt had such a fun, memorable wedding day at Look Park this past weekend! They planned out a relaxed and vibrant celebration that seemed to match who they are. We started with an early morning first look where these two got to see each other, hug, laugh, and kiss. After wandering the park a bit with their wedding party, they got read for their ceremony at the Sanctuary, right across from the park's lake. Their ceremony had so many touching moments. There was a wreath that they made from items in the park and then together placed above them at the altar. The vows they wrote for each other. And their huge smiles after they said 'I do' and their guests blew bubbles for them as they came back down the aisle together, hand in hand.

They embraced everything the park has to offer and invited their friends and family to do the same by incorporating wristbands for activities and a scavenger hunt into their wedding day. It was the perfect way to celebrate Emily and Matt who have such huge hearts and are so loving while also being up for some fun and an adventure!

Hartford, CT May Wedding :: Cathedral of Saint Joseph Ceremony :: Marquee Events Gershon Fox Ballroom Reception :: Meghan and Steve

Meghan and Steve harnessed the classic beauty of Hartford in their location choices for their wedding day, an incredible cathedral, the grader of city hall, and the art deco decor of the Marquee. On top of these gorgeous locations and the weather being as close to perfect as New England offers, Meghan and Steve had such a great group of people around them all day. You could feel the excitement that their friends and family had for them.. almost as much as you could see how much these two love each other. It was a day of big smiles, cheers, hugs, belly laughs, music (did I mention the live music at cocktail hour??), dancing, and margaritas (it was Cinco de Mayo after all!). It was a perfect way to celebrate the marriage of two beautiful people. Congratulations again Meghan and Steve!

Charming New England Winter Wedding :: The Lord Jeffery Inn in Amherst, Ma :: Sneak Peek :: Emily and Chris

Saturday was such a beautiful Winter day, especially at the Lord Jeffery Inn where Emily and Chris had their wedding. The fire places and lanterns around were lit and a light snow was falling as these two braved the chill for their first look outside. The moment they saw each other, they both just lit up. They smiled, laughed, hugged (a few times!), and really took in the moment together. Emily spun to show off her dress and Chris showed off the custom lining and inscription in his coat jacket. And that was just the start! Their whole wedding party shared in their excitement. As we wandered around the inn for photos the energy was just so positive, even as snow got into heels and noses turned red in the cold. (We definitely utilized those fireplaces between photos!) The whole day had such a spirited, loving feel. There were big laughs and happy tears throughout their ceremony and straight into the reception where three incredibly touching toasts were made. Glasses clinked for the  newly weds. Group photos on the dance floor were accompanied by cheers. And, as soon as dinner was done, the dance floor was full.. Everyone was ready to celebrate!
