Gold Sequins and Star Confetti :: Editorial Styled Bridal Shoot

For this final blog installment of our Golden Bridal Editorial at Mill1 at Open Square, we went a little brighter with the gold and softer with the lighting. The gold sequin background from The Sharp Drop made for an elegant, yet fun setting for confetti throwing, dress twirling, and smiles!

Gold Details and Retro Styling :: Bridal Editorial Shoot in the Old Mills in Open Square

For part two of this styled bridal editorial we focused on styling wedding attire with gold accents and, for something a little different, incorporating a retro look.

Bridal Editorial :: Dramatic Lighting :: Gold Details :: Mill 1 at Open Square

This styled bridal editorial was photographed at Mill1 at Open Square with the idea of embracing the Mill's space (the old floor boards, giant windows, and brick walls) and working with gold details in dramatic lighting. Pearl Bridal Boutique supplied the gowns and Aunchman Style put together the looks and added in pieces that made each style so unique. The talented Liz Washer did all of the hair and makeup for each look, adding even more variety. Both of our models from John Casablanca really embraced the styles they wore and look like new people in each moment! It was a crazy, long, fun day with professionals that I love working with! And since each look was so different, I've decided to break this shoot into multiple blog posts. I hope that you enjoy it all!

Published :: Style Me Pretty :: A Perfect Peach Eye :: Makeup Tutorials with Liz Washer

For the last of our three makeup tutorials, Liz Washer created this peachy eye based on Jessica Alba's makeup at the recent MTV Movie Awards. This look is such a beautiful alternative to the 'smokey eye' and is really warm, flattering, and fresh.

The wedding gown was provided by In White for our shoot. And with that Hollywood Glam Hair, it all makes for a picture perfect bridal look! You can see this makeup demonstrated step by step on Style Me Pretty as well!

How to get this Glowing Peach Eye Look

1.     Apply a peach eyeshadow to the center and outer quadrant of the eyelid

2.     Apply a shimmery gold to the inner eyelid

3.     Use a round-tipped shadow brush to apply reddish brown matte shadow to the outer corner and crease

4.     Sketch a bronzey-brown pencil along the lower lash line

5.     Using an angled brush, apply a water-resistant gel eyeliner to the top lash line

6.     Apply a thin line of black lash glue to the base of a wispy lash strip

7.     Apply a final coat of mascara to unite the natural and faux lashes
